Description
Tuscan chicken tenders with garlic cream sauce – an easy skillet dinner made with juicy chicken, sun-dried tomatoes, garlic, and a rich creamy sauce.
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 500 grams chicken tenders
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
- 1 cup fresh spinach
- Optional: chili flakes, fresh basil or parsley
Instructions
1. Heat olive oil in a skillet and cook chicken tenders with seasoning for 4–5 minutes per side until golden. Remove and set aside.
2. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic for 1 minute until fragrant.
3. Add chicken broth and simmer briefly, scraping the pan.
4. Pour in heavy cream and stir to combine.
5. Add Parmesan cheese and mix until melted and smooth.
6. Stir in sun-dried tomatoes and simmer for a few minutes.
7. Add spinach and cook until wilted.
8. Return chicken to skillet and coat with sauce. Simmer briefly.
9. Adjust seasoning, garnish, and serve warm.
Notes
- Do not overcook garlic to avoid bitterness.
- Use freshly grated Parmesan for best results.
- Serve with pasta, rice, or bread for a complete meal.
- Reheat with a splash of broth or milk to maintain creaminess.
