- 4 pounds beef ribs
- 2 tablespoons kosher salt
- 1 tablespoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons smoked paprika
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- Cooking spray
- Hickory or oak wood chips
Instructions
1. Trim excess fat from ribs
2. Mix spice rub ingredients
3. Pat ribs dry and coat with oil
4. Apply rub evenly
5. Preheat smoker to 225°F
6. Smoke ribs for 3 hours
7. Wrap ribs with broth and vinegar
8. Cook 1 more hour
9. Unwrap and smoke 30 minutes
10. Rest 15 minutes before slicing
