Description
Easy Ground Beef Enchiladas loaded with seasoned beef, enchilada sauce, and melted cheese. Perfect for a quick family dinner.
Ingredients
- 500g ground beef
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp chili powder
- Salt
- Black pepper
- 1/2 cup tomato sauce
- 6–8 flour tortillas
- 1½ cups enchilada sauce
- 1½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
- Fresh cilantro
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C).
2. Cook onion in oil until soft.
3. Add garlic and ground beef; brown completely.
4. Stir in seasonings and tomato sauce; simmer 5 minutes.
5. Fill tortillas with beef mixture and roll tightly.
6. Arrange in a greased baking dish.
7. Cover with enchilada sauce.
8. Top with shredded cheese.
9. Bake covered for 20 minutes.
10. Uncover and bake another 5-10 minutes.
11. Garnish with cilantro and serve hot.
Notes
- Use freshly shredded cheese for better melting.
- Add jalapeños for extra heat.
- Freeze leftovers for up to 3 months.
