Description

Air Fryer Garlic Butter Steak Bites and Potatoes combine juicy sirloin, crispy potatoes, fresh garlic, butter, and smoky paprika in an easy 30-minute dinner.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound sirloin or ribeye steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt, divided
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 medium russet potatoes, cut into small cubes
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

Instructions

1. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).

3. Cut the potatoes into small, evenly sized cubes. Toss them with olive oil and part of the salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika.

5. Arrange the potatoes in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Air fry for 12 to 15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until tender and crisp.

7. Pat the steak dry and cut it into bite-sized cubes. Season with the remaining salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika. Combine the melted butter and minced garlic, then lightly coat the steak with the garlic butter.

9. Transfer the cooked potatoes to a plate. Arrange the steak bites in the hot air fryer basket in a single layer. Air fry at 400°F for 6 to 10 minutes, turning or shaking halfway through. Check the steak with an instant-read thermometer for your desired doneness.

11. Return the potatoes to the basket. Add the reserved garlic butter and toss gently. Air fry for another 1 to 2 minutes until everything is hot.

13. Transfer the steak bites and potatoes to a serving dish. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Cut the steak and potatoes into evenly sized pieces for consistent cooking.
  • Avoid overcrowding the air fryer basket. Cook in batches when necessary.
  • Pat the steak dry before seasoning to encourage better browning.
  • Air fryer models vary, so cooking times may require adjustment.
  • For food safety, USDA guidance recommends cooking whole cuts of beef to 145°F followed by a three-minute rest.
  • Store cooled leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3 to 4 days.
