Description
This pulled chicken sandwich is juicy, smoky, and slow-cooked to perfection. A family-favorite that’s easy to prep and even easier to love.
Ingredients

- 1.5 pounds chicken breast
- ½ cup BBQ sauce
- ⅓ cup water
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 small jalapeño (2 tbsp chopped)
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- ½ tsp ground cumin
- ½ tsp chili powder
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- ¼ tsp salt
Instructions
- Add BBQ sauce, water, Dijon mustard, jalapeño, garlic, smoked paprika, cumin, chili powder, salt, and pepper to the slow cooker and stir to combine.
- Add chicken breast and coat well with the mixture.
- Cook on LOW for 6–7 hours or HIGH for 3–4 hours.
- Shred chicken in crock pot and mix well with sauce.
- Serve hot on buns with toppings of choice.
Notes
Smoked paprika gives a deeper flavor—use regular paprika if needed.
Top with slaw, pickled onions, or fermented veggies.
Store in fridge up to 4 days or freeze for 3 months.
