Description

Kid-Friendly Grilled Chicken Dinner with creamy dipping sauce, soft sides, and build-your-own fun for picky eaters.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 large chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon mild paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon honey (optional)
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • Pinch of salt
  • 2 cups mashed potatoes or rice
  • 1 cup steamed carrots or corn
  • 1 cup cucumber slices
  • Soft flatbread or small wraps

Instructions

1. Place chicken in a bowl and coat with olive oil and seasonings.

2. Add honey if using and mix well.

3. Let the chicken marinate for 15–20 minutes.

4. Mix yogurt, mayonnaise, lemon juice, honey, and salt to make sauce.

5. Refrigerate the sauce until ready.

6. Heat grill pan over medium heat and lightly grease.

7. Cook chicken for 5–6 minutes per side until fully cooked.

8. Let chicken rest, then slice into small pieces.

9. Prepare mashed potatoes or rice and steam vegetables.

10. Slice cucumbers thinly.

11. Serve chicken with sides and dipping sauce.

12. Let kids build their own wraps or plates.

  • Reduce spices for very picky eaters.
  • Use chicken tenders for faster cooking.
  • Bake at 400°F (200°C) if not grilling.
  • Cut chicken into cubes for easier serving.
