Description

Keto Philly Cheesesteak Rolls are low-carb, cheesy, and packed with tender beef, sautéed peppers, and onions wrapped in soft keto dough. Perfect for meal prep, family dinners, or a satisfying high-protein snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ribeye steak or sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or butter
  • 1 small onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup mushrooms, sliced (optional)
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup provolone or mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (for dough)
  • 2 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil or butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add onions, bell peppers, and mushrooms. Sauté 5–7 minutes until softened.
  2. Add sliced beef. Season with Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Cook 3–5 minutes until browned.
  3. Reduce heat and stir in shredded cheese. Mix until melted and creamy. Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
  4. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt mozzarella and cream cheese in 30-second intervals until smooth.
  5. Stir in almond flour, egg, baking powder, and salt. Mix until soft dough forms.
  6. Place dough between parchment paper sheets and roll into a 1/4-inch thick rectangle.
  7. Spread cheesesteak filling evenly over dough. Roll tightly from one long side and slice into 6–8 rolls.
  8. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Place rolls on lined baking sheet and bake 15–18 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Cool slightly before serving and enjoy.

Notes

  • Slice beef very thin for best texture.
  • Let filling cool before spreading to prevent dough tearing.
  • Store leftovers in refrigerator up to 4 days.
  • Freeze unbaked rolls and bake directly from frozen, adding 3–5 extra minutes.
