Description

This gut-friendly high-protein bariatric gelatin is a clean-eating, sugar-free snack designed to support healing, muscle maintenance, and digestion. Light, refreshing, and easy to digest, it delivers 13–18g protein per serving while staying gentle on the stomach.


Ingredients

  • 1 (0.3 oz) package sugar-free, clean-label gelatin
  • 1 cup boiling filtered water
  • 1 cup cold filtered water
  • 1 scoop (20–25g) unflavored whey isolate or approved bariatric protein powder OR
  • 1/2 cup plain nonfat Greek yogurt OR
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened vanilla protein shake
  • 1 tablespoon collagen peptides (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon powdered probiotic supplement (optional, provider-approved)
  • 12 tablespoons unsweetened coconut milk (optional)

Instructions

  1. Bring 1 cup of filtered water to a rolling boil and pour into a heatproof bowl.
  2. Add sugar-free gelatin powder and stir for 1–2 minutes until completely dissolved.
  3. Stir in 1 cup cold filtered water and let cool for about 5 minutes.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk your chosen protein source until completely smooth.
  5. Slowly whisk a few tablespoons of cooled gelatin into the protein mixture to temper it.
  6. Pour the protein mixture back into the gelatin bowl and stir gently until combined.
  7. If using collagen or probiotics, stir them in once the mixture is warm but not hot.
  8. Pour into small ramekins or portion-controlled cups.
  9. Refrigerate for 3–4 hours until fully set.
  10. Serve chilled with optional unsweetened Greek yogurt or sugar-free whipped topping if approved.
