Ingredients:
For the tacos:
- 500g (1 lb) ground beef
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 6 small flour tortillas
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil (for cooking)
For toppings (feel free to customize):
- Shredded lettuce
- Sliced tomatoes
- Sliced pickles
- Sliced red onions
- Shredded cheddar cheese
- Burger sauce or mayo + ketchup mix
Directions:
- Season the ground beef with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Divide into 6 equal balls.
- Place each tortilla on a flat surface. Press a beef ball onto one side of each tortilla, spreading it thin and flat.
- Heat a skillet or griddle over medium-high heat with a little oil. Place the tortilla beef-side down and press with a spatula to smash it thin.
- Cook for 2–3 minutes until the beef is crispy and browned, then flip and toast the tortilla side briefly.
- Remove from heat, add cheese if using, and top with lettuce, pickles, onions, and sauce.
- Fold and serve hot like a taco — crispy, juicy, and full of flavor!
