Crockpot Ground Beef Lasagna is an easy slow cooker pasta dinner layered with rich meat sauce, creamy cheese, and tender noodles for a comforting family meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
  • 1 can (14 oz) crushed tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 1/2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley (or 1 teaspoon dried)
  • 912 lasagna noodles (uncooked)
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

1. Cook ground beef in a skillet until browned, then add onion and cook until soft.

2. Stir in garlic and cook briefly until fragrant.

3. Drain excess fat and add marinara sauce, crushed tomatoes, and seasonings.

4. Simmer for a few minutes, then remove from heat.

5. In a bowl, mix ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, egg, and parsley.

6. Lightly grease the crockpot and spread a layer of meat sauce on the bottom.

7. Add a layer of uncooked lasagna noodles.

8. Spread cheese mixture over noodles, then add more meat sauce.

9. Repeat layers until ingredients are used, finishing with sauce on top.

10. Sprinkle remaining mozzarella cheese on top.

11. Cover and cook on low for 4–5 hours or high for 2–3 hours.

12. Let rest for 15–20 minutes before slicing and serving.
