Crockpot Garlic Butter Steak Bites is an easy dump and go recipe with tender beef cubes slow cooked in a rich garlic butter sauce for a comforting and flavorful meal.
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 5 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley or Italian seasoning (optional)
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce (optional)
- Mashed potatoes, rice, or crusty bread for serving
- Optional: steamed vegetables
Instructions
1. Cut steak into bite-sized cubes and season with salt, pepper, paprika, and onion powder.
2. Place seasoned steak directly into the crockpot.
3. In a bowl, mix melted butter, garlic, olive oil, and beef broth.
4. Add Worcestershire sauce and herbs if using.
5. Pour the garlic butter mixture over the steak.
6. Cover and cook on low for 5–6 hours or high for 3–4 hours.
7. Stir halfway through cooking if desired.
8. Taste and adjust seasoning before serving.
9. Serve hot over mashed potatoes, rice, or with crusty bread.
Notes
- Add extra garlic for a stronger flavor.
- Reduce butter and increase broth for a lighter version.
- Add mushrooms or potatoes for a one-pot meal.
- Use a cornstarch slurry to thicken the sauce if desired.
