Description

This Chicken Cordon Bleu Meatloaf is a comforting twist on the classic dish—featuring tender ground chicken, savory deli meat, and melty cheese rolled into one flavorful loaf.


Ingredients

Scale
  • lbs ground chicken
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella or Swiss cheese
  • 4 slices halal turkey or chicken deli meat
  • ½ cup baby spinach (optional)
  • ¼ cup shredded cheese (topping)
  • 1 tbsp melted butter or olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F and grease or line a loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix ground chicken, breadcrumbs, egg, milk, mustard, and spices.
  3. Flatten mixture into a rectangle on parchment paper, about ½-inch thick.
  4. Layer turkey, spinach (optional), and shredded cheese evenly on top.
  5. Carefully roll into a tight log, sealing the edges.
  6. Place seam-side down in loaf pan and brush with butter or olive oil.
  7. Bake uncovered for 40–45 minutes.
  8. In the last 5 minutes, sprinkle on the remaining shredded cheese and return to oven.
  9. Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing and servinga.

Notes

You can make this ahead and refrigerate overnight before baking.

Swap Swiss for mozzarella, provolone, or cheddar depending on taste.

Leftovers make great sandwiches for lunch the next day.
