Description
Baked ravioli with ground beef is a comforting, hearty family dinner made with layers of cheese ravioli, rich beef marinara sauce, and melted mozzarella cheese.
Ingredients
1 pound ground beef
1 package (20 ounces) cheese ravioli
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 onion, chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 can crushed tomatoes (24 oz)
1 can diced tomatoes (14.5 oz)
2 tablespoons tomato paste
1 teaspoon oregano
1 teaspoon basil
Salt and pepper to taste
2 cups mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
2. Heat olive oil in skillet and sauté onion and garlic.
3. Add ground beef and cook until browned.
4. Stir in tomatoes and seasonings, then simmer 10 minutes.
5. Spread sauce in baking dish.
6. Layer ravioli, sauce, and cheese.
7. Repeat layers.
8. Bake for 25–30 minutes.
9. Rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
Use lean beef to reduce grease.
